Kalbar project in Indonesia
Kalbar project, located in the western part of Kalimantan, Indonesia, is a joint effort of Taicang Port GCL Power Generation Co., Ltd. and Indonesia Power, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Indonesia's national power company. With construction to be commenced on August 7, 2018 and completed by 2020, the project is to be equipped with two 100MW coal-fired generating units, which will generate 1.4 billion kWh annually and greatly ease the power shortage in the region.

Geothermal Project in Turkey
The geothermal project, located in the Alaisehir region of Manisa, Turkey, is another joint venture with GCL Intelligent Energy as the controlling shareholder. The total installed capacity of this project is 12MW. Underground drilling engineering began in October 2017, and above-ground power station construction is expected to begin in May 2018. The investment in this geothermal power generation project in Turkey is a key move under the “Belt and Road” initiative. It is also an important measure for the company to expand its supply-side energy business as well as a solid step of “Going Global” toward diversified development.
