Wind Power Generation
Wind power generation offers high efficiency and energy savings. Compared to thermal power of the same capacity, the amount of sulfur dioxide, nitrogen oxides, soot, carbon dioxide and ash emission of wind power each year is significantly less. In addition, wind power generation also ensures water consumption by reducing water contamination through hydraulic ash removal and warm water drainage.
GCL Power has constructed land, beach and offshore wind power facilities in areas with excellent resources and secured power prices, such as Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Inner Mongolia. By 2018, the company will have over 1,300 MW of installed wind power.
Waste Power Generation
GCL Power has fully utilized the renewable energy encouragement and incentives provided by the government and various regions, and has identify renewable energy projects in cities with high garbage heat value, large daily waste volume, economies of scale, and strong profitability. The company has focused its business layout on regions with strong affordability, environmental requirements and high government integrity like the Yangtze River Delta, Pearl River Delta and Bohai Economic Rim.
